Subscription Management

Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your AMP subscription plan

Overview

All subscription management is handled through Stripe Billing Portal, a secure payment platform. You can upgrade, downgrade, cancel, manage payment methods, and view invoices anytime.

Accessing Stripe Billing Portal

Open Your Billing Portal

Steps:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Log in with your account credentials (if prompted)

You're now in Stripe Billing Portal where you can manage everything related to your subscription.

Viewing Your Current Plan

Check Active Plan

In Stripe Billing Portal:

  1. You'll see your current plan displayed
  2. Plan information includes:
    • Plan name (Free, Essentials, Luxe, Glamour, Ultra VIP)
    • Monthly cost
    • Billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)
    • Renewal date
    • Next billing amount
    • Plan features

Plan Features

Compare Features:

  • Model names allowed
  • Custom sites allowed
  • Search engine scans frequency
  • Platform monitoring frequency
  • Takedown quotas
  • Support level

View Full Details:

  • Click on your plan name
  • See all features
  • Compare with other plans
  • Check limitations

Upgrading Your Plan

When to Upgrade

Consider Upgrading If:

  • ✅ Using all current quotas
  • ✅ Need more model names
  • ✅ Want faster scan frequency
  • ✅ Need platform takedown notices
  • ✅ Want priority support
  • ✅ Require dark web monitoring

Upgrade Options:

  • Free → Essentials ($69/month)
  • Essentials → Luxe ($199/month)
  • Luxe → Glamour ($349/month)
  • Glamour → Ultra VIP ($749/month)
  • Any plan → Higher tier

Upgrade Process

Steps to Upgrade:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Select your new plan
  6. Choose billing period:
    • Monthly (standard price)
    • Quarterly (15% off)
    • Semi-annually (20% off)
    • Yearly (25% off)
  7. Review pricing and changes
  8. Confirm the upgrade
  9. Payment processed
  10. Changes take effect immediately

Pricing:

  • Free: $0/forever
  • Essentials: $69/month
  • Luxe: $199/month
  • Glamour: $349/month
  • Ultra VIP: $749/month

Upgrade Benefits

  • New features available instantly

  • If upgrading mid-cycle

Downgrading Your Plan

When to Downgrade

Consider Downgrading If:

  • ✅ Over budget
  • ✅ Not using all features
  • ✅ Temporary situation
  • ✅ Reducing operations
  • ✅ Testing lower tier

Downgrade Options:

  • Glamour → Luxe ($199/month)
  • Glamour → Free ($0)
  • Ultra VIP → Glamour ($349/month)
  • Ultra VIP → Luxe ($199/month)
  • Ultra VIP → Free ($0)
  • Luxe → Free ($0)

Downgrade Process

Steps to Downgrade:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Select your new (lower) plan
  6. Choose billing period
  7. Review pricing and changes
  8. Confirm the downgrade
  9. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle

Important:

  • Takes effect next cycle
  • Not immediate
  • Current plan continues
  • No refunds for current cycle
  • Quotas reduce next cycle

Downgrade Considerations

Data & Features:

  • Existing data preserved
  • Quotas reduce next cycle
  • Features limited
  • Scan frequency decreases
  • Support level changes

Example:

  • Current: Glamour (250 takedown notices/month)
  • Downgrade to: Luxe (100 takedown notices/month)
  • Next cycle: Limited to 100 takedowns
  • Existing takedown requests remain in history
  • Can upgrade again anytime

Note: Model names and custom sites are unlimited for all paid plans. Downgrades primarily affect takedown quotas.

Cancelling Your Subscription

When to Cancel

Reasons to Cancel:

  • ❌ No longer need service
  • ❌ Budget constraints
  • ❌ Switching providers
  • ❌ Temporary pause
  • ❌ Service not meeting needs

Before Cancelling:

  • Download your data
  • Export scan results
  • Save takedown records
  • Review cancellation policy
  • Contact support with concerns

Cancellation Process

Steps to Cancel:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Select Cancel Plan or similar option
  6. Follow Stripe's cancellation process
  7. Confirm cancellation
  8. Subscription ends at your next billing cycle

Important:

  • Effective next billing cycle
  • Not immediate
  • Current plan continues
  • No refunds
  • Can reactivate anytime

After Cancellation

What Happens:

  • Access continues until cycle end
  • Dashboard remains accessible
  • Data preserved for 30 days
  • Can download data anytime
  • Can reactivate anytime

Reactivating:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Choose plan
  6. Select billing period
  7. Payment processed
  8. Access restored immediately

Billing & Payment

Payment Methods

Supported Methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Debit cards
  • Stripe payment options

Manage Payment Methods:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Go to Payment Methods section
  6. Add, update, or remove payment methods
  7. Set default payment method
  8. Changes are saved automatically

Note: All payment method management is handled securely through Stripe Billing Portal.

Failed Payments

If Payment Fails:

  • Email notification sent
  • Retry automatically (3 times)
  • Account suspended after 3 failures
  • 7-day grace period
  • Contact support for help

Resolve Failed Payment:

  1. Click Manage Billing
  2. Update payment method in Stripe Portal
  3. Retry payment manually
  4. Contact support if issues persist
  5. Payment processed

Billing Cycles

Monthly Billing:

  • Charged every month
  • Same date each month
  • Standard pricing
  • Most flexible

Quarterly Billing (15% off):

  • Charged every 3 months
  • Saves $90/quarter (Luxe)
  • Longer commitment
  • Better savings

Semi-Annual Billing (20% off):

  • Charged every 6 months
  • Saves $240/6 months (Luxe)
  • Even better value
  • Longer commitment

Annual Billing (25% off):

  • Charged once per year
  • Saves $597/year (Luxe)
  • Best savings
  • Longest commitment

Billing History

View Invoices

Access Invoices:

  1. Click profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Billing Portal
  5. Go to Invoices or Billing History section
  6. See all past invoices
  7. Download as PDF
  8. Print if needed

Invoice Details:

  • Invoice number
  • Date issued
  • Amount charged
  • Plan details
  • Billing period
  • Payment status

Download Invoice

Get PDF Copy:

  1. Find invoice in Stripe Billing Portal
  2. Click Download or the invoice number
  3. PDF saved to computer
  4. Print or share as needed
  5. Keep for records
