Managing Your Account

Update profile settings, email preferences, and account information

Overview

Your account settings control how you interact with AMP and receive notifications. This guide covers profile management, security settings, email preferences, and account information updates.

Accessing Account Settings

Navigate to Settings:

  1. Click your profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Or navigate to Settings from main menu

Settings Sections:

  • Profile Information
  • Email & Notifications
  • Security & Password

  • Billing & Subscription
  • Privacy & Data

Profile Information

Updating Your Profile

Personal Details:

  • Display name
  • Profile photo
  • Bio/description
  • Contact information
  • Preferred language

Creator Information:

  • Primary model name
  • Alternative names
  • Professional website
  • Social media links
  • Portfolio/samples

How to Update:

  1. Navigate to Profile Information
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Update desired fields
  4. Click Save Changes
  5. Confirmation email sent

Profile Photo

Upload Photo:

  1. Click current photo
  2. Select Change Photo
  3. Upload new image (JPG, PNG)
  4. Crop/resize as needed
  5. Click Save

Requirements:

  • Max 5MB file size
  • Minimum 200x200 pixels
  • Professional appearance recommended
  • Clear, recognizable image

Email & Notifications

Email Address

Change Email:

  1. Go to Email & Notifications
  2. Click Change Email
  3. Enter new email address
  4. Verify with code sent to old email
  5. Confirm new email address

Important:

  • Used for login and recovery
  • Receives all notifications
  • Must be unique
  • Verification required

Email Preferences

Notification Types:

  • New detections
  • Takedown updates
  • Scan results
  • Account alerts
  • Marketing emails
  • Weekly summaries

Frequency Options:

  • Immediate
  • Daily digest
  • Weekly summary
  • Monthly report
  • Never (disable)

How to Configure:

  1. Go to Email Preferences
  2. Toggle notifications on/off
  3. Set frequency for each type
  4. Click Save Preferences

Security Settings

Password Management

Change Password:

  1. Navigate to Security
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password (twice)
  5. Click Update Password

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 characters
  • Mix of uppercase/lowercase
  • Include numbers and symbols
  • Not previously used
  • Different from username

Best Practices:

  • Change regularly (quarterly)
  • Use unique password
  • Never share password
  • Use password manager
  • Enable 2FA for extra security

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA:

  1. Go to Security
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Choose method:
    • Authenticator app (recommended)
    • SMS text message
    • Email code
  4. Follow setup instructions
  5. Save backup codes

Using 2FA:

  • Required on login
  • Enter code from app/SMS
  • Backup codes if device unavailable
  • More secure than password alone

Login Activity

View Recent Logins:

  1. Go to Security
  2. Click Login Activity
  3. See recent login attempts
  4. Device and location info
  5. Date and time stamps

Suspicious Activity:

  • Review unfamiliar logins
  • Click Sign Out to end session
  • Change password if concerned
  • Contact support if compromised

Connected Accounts

Why Link Profiles:

  • Easier login (social login)
  • Profile verification
  • Content discovery
  • Streamlined setup

Connect Profile:

  1. Go to Connected Accounts
  2. Click Connect next to platform
  3. Authorize AMP access
  4. Profile linked successfully

Supported Platforms:

  • Google
  • Twitter/X
  • Instagram
  • OnlyFans
  • Fansly
  • Others

Disconnect Accounts

Remove Connection:

  1. Go to Connected Accounts
  2. Find connected account
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm removal
  5. Connection removed

Note: Doesn't affect your account on that platform

Billing & Subscription

View Subscription

Current Plan:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. See active plan
  3. Renewal date
  4. Next billing amount
  5. Plan features

Plan Details:

  • Plan name and tier
  • Monthly cost
  • Billing cycle
  • Auto-renewal status
  • Upgrade/downgrade options

Update Payment Method

Change Payment Card:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Payment Methods
  3. Click Add New Card
  4. Enter card details
  5. Set as default
  6. Old card removed

Supported Methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • Stripe payment options

View Invoices

Access Invoices:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Invoices
  3. See all past invoices
  4. Download as PDF
  5. Print if needed

Invoice Information:

  • Invoice number
  • Date issued
  • Amount charged
  • Plan details
  • Payment status

Privacy & Data

Data Access

Download Your Data:

  1. Go to Privacy & Data
  2. Click Download My Data
  3. Select data types:
    • Profile information
    • Scan results
    • Takedown history
    • Settings
  4. Format (JSON or CSV)
  5. Download file

What's Included:

  • All personal information
  • All detection records
  • All takedown requests
  • All settings and preferences

Data Deletion

Delete Account:

  1. Go to Privacy & Data
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm you understand consequences
  4. Enter password to verify
  5. Account deleted permanently

Important:

  • Cannot be undone
  • All data permanently removed
  • Active subscriptions cancelled
  • No refunds issued

Before Deleting:

  • Download your data
  • Export important records
  • Cancel subscriptions
  • Contact support with questions

Account Preferences

Language & Timezone

Change Language:

  1. Go to Preferences
  2. Select language
  3. Click Save
  4. Interface updates immediately

Set Timezone:

  1. Go to Preferences
  2. Select timezone
  3. Affects all timestamps
  4. Click Save

Available Languages:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Portuguese
  • Others

Display Preferences

Theme:

  • Light mode
  • Dark mode
  • Auto (system default)

Dashboard Layout:

  • Compact
  • Standard
  • Detailed

Notifications:

  • Sound on/off
  • Desktop notifications
  • Browser notifications

Account Recovery

Forgot Password

Reset Password:

  1. Go to login page
  2. Click Forgot Password?
  3. Enter email address
  4. Check email for reset link
  5. Click link and create new password
  6. Login with new password

Reset Link:

  • Valid for 24 hours
  • One-time use only
  • Expires after use
  • Request new link if needed

Account Locked

If Account Locked:

  1. Try login with correct password
  2. After 5 failed attempts, locked
  3. Wait 30 minutes or reset password
  4. Contact support if still locked

Prevention:

  • Use correct password
  • Enable 2FA
  • Monitor login activity
  • Change password regularly
