Understanding Scan Status

Learn the different scan states and what each status means

Overview

Your model names go through different scan states as they progress through the scanning system. Understanding these states helps you know what to expect and when to take action.

Scan States

No Model Names

What It Means:

  • No model names added yet
  • Scanning cannot start
  • Dashboard shows empty state
  • No scan results available

What To Do:

  1. Add at least one model name
  2. Go to Profile SetupModel Names
  3. Click Add Model Name
  4. Enter your stage name
  5. Save and return to dashboard

Next State: Pending First Scan

Pending First Scan

What It Means:

  • Model name added
  • Waiting for first scan to run
  • Confirmation modal may appear
  • Scan scheduled but not started

What To Do:

  1. Accept confirmation modal (if shown)
  2. Wait for first scan to begin
  3. Usually starts within 1 hour
  4. Check dashboard for updates
  5. First results appear within 24 hours

Timeline:

  • Confirmation: Immediate
  • Scan starts: Within 1 hour
  • Results appear: Within 24 hours
  • Next scan: Based on plan frequency

Next State: Scan Running

Scan Running

What It Means:

  • Active scan in progress
  • Searching across platforms
  • Results being collected
  • Dashboard shows progress

What To Do:

  1. Wait for scan to complete
  2. Check dashboard for progress
  3. Don't modify model name
  4. Don't cancel account
  5. Results will appear soon

Timeline:

  • Duration: 1-4 hours typically
  • Progress: Updated every 15 minutes
  • Completion: Notification sent
  • Results: Appear immediately

Status Indicators:

  • Progress bar showing percentage
  • "Scanning..." label
  • Last update timestamp
  • Estimated completion time

Next State: Active Schedule (after first scan)

Active Schedule

What It Means:

  • Scanning is active and running
  • Regular scans scheduled
  • Results being collected
  • System monitoring your content

What To Do:

  1. Check dashboard regularly
  2. Review new results
  3. Submit takedowns as needed
  4. Monitor for changes
  5. Adjust settings if needed

Scan Frequency by Plan:

  • Free: Quarterly basic scans
  • All Paid Plans: Daily scans

Next Scan:

  • Scheduled automatically
  • Time shown in dashboard
  • Frequency based on plan
  • Can trigger manual scan

Scan Status Indicators

Dashboard Display

Status Badge:

  • Shows current state
  • Color-coded (green/yellow/blue)
  • Updates in real-time
  • Click for details

Status Colors:

  • 🟢 Green: Active, scanning normally
  • 🟡 Yellow: Pending, waiting to start
  • 🔵 Blue: Scanning in progress
  • ⚪ Gray: Inactive, no model names

Last Scan Information

Shows:

  • Last scan date and time
  • Results from that scan
  • Number of detections
  • Platforms checked
  • Next scheduled scan

Example:

  • Last scan: Today at 2:45 PM
  • Results: 3 new detections
  • Platforms: 500+ sites
  • Next scan: In 30 minutes

Eligibility Requirements

Requirements for Scanning

Must Have:

  1. ✅ At least one model name added
  2. ✅ Paid plan active (Luxe, Glamour, or Ultra VIP)
  3. ✅ Account verified
  4. ✅ Valid payment method
  5. ✅ Terms accepted

Free Plan:

  • Quarterly basic scans only
  • 1 model name
  • 3 high-priority sites
  • Manual monitoring

Paid Plans:

  • Automatic daily scans
  • Unlimited model names
  • 500+ sites monitored
  • Unlimited results

Account Verification

KYC Verification:

  • Required for paid plans
  • Verify identity
  • Provide documentation
  • Usually within 24 hours
  • Enables full scanning

If Not Verified:

  • Scanning limited
  • Cannot submit takedowns
  • Cannot access all features
  • Complete verification first

Troubleshooting Scan Status

Stuck on "Pending First Scan"

If Scan Hasn't Started:

  1. Wait up to 24 hours
  2. Refresh dashboard
  3. Check internet connection
  4. Verify model name added
  5. Contact support if still pending

Solutions:

  • Confirm model name is active
  • Check account status
  • Verify payment method
  • Try manual scan trigger
  • Contact support

Scan Running Too Long

If Scan Exceeds 4 Hours:

  1. Check dashboard for progress
  2. Verify internet connection
  3. Try refreshing page
  4. Wait a bit longer
  5. Contact support if stuck

Normal Duration:

  • Typical: 1-2 hours
  • Maximum: 4 hours
  • If longer: May be issue
  • Contact support

No Results After Scan

If Scan Completed But No Results:

  1. Check scan status
  2. Verify model name correct
  3. Review scan details
  4. Check all platforms
  5. Contact support

Possible Reasons:

  • Content not indexed yet
  • Model name not found
  • Scan error occurred
  • Results still processing
  • No content on platforms

Manual Scan Trigger

Trigger Manual Scan

Start Scan Immediately:

  1. Go to Scanning dashboard
  2. Find model name
  3. Click Scan Now button
  4. Confirm action
  5. Scan starts immediately

When to Use:

  • After uploading new content
  • Suspect new leak
  • Want immediate results
  • Testing the system
  • Urgent situation

Frequency:

  • Can trigger anytime
  • Doesn't affect schedule
  • Counts toward quota (if applicable)
  • Results appear within hours

Scan History

View Scan History

Access History:

  1. Go to Scanning dashboard
  2. Click model name
  3. Select Scan History
  4. See all past scans
  5. Sorted by date (newest first)

Scan Details:

  • Date and time
  • Duration
  • Results found
  • Platforms checked
  • Status
  • Detections

Compare Scans

Track Changes:

  • Compare results over time
  • See trend of detections
  • Identify new platforms
  • Monitor effectiveness
  • Adjust strategy
