For an EU Digital Services Act notice, replace "The period for acting on my request has passed." with "I have not received your decision."

If there is still no response

  • Send the request to the host. Most sites are hosted by another company that has its own abuse contact. Look up the host of the domain and send the same request there.
  • Remove the pages from search results with the search engine forms, even while the pages are still online.
  • United States: the Federal Trade Commission enforces the platforms' duty to remove reported images under the TAKE IT DOWN Act. You can tell the FTC about a platform that did not act on a valid request.
  • United Kingdom: Ofcom regulates services under the Online Safety Act; the Revenge Porn Helpline can help you with reports that get no response.
  • European Union: many services offer an internal complaint route against their decision on your notice; use it, and ask a lawyer or a victim support organisation in your country about further steps.
  • Get support. Organisations that help with intimate image abuse can advise you, and a lawyer can tell you what other steps are open to you.
