Social Profiles Overview

Social media profiles are your presence on platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and others. Linking these accounts helps AMP detect impersonation attempts, unauthorized content sharing, and brand theft.

Accessing Social Profiles

1. Navigate to Profile Management
2. Click the Social Media tab
3. You'll see your linked profiles and options to add new ones

Adding a Social Profile

Step 1: Click Add Social Profile

Look for the "Add Social Profile" button in the Social Media section.

Step 2: Select Platform

Choose from the dropdown:

• Twitter/X
• Instagram
• TikTok
• Snapchat
• Reddit
• Telegram
• Other

Step 3: Enter Profile Information

Required:

• Platform: Social media platform
• Username: Your handle (without @)
• Profile URL: Direct link to your profile

Optional:

• Display Name: How you want this labeled
• Follower Count: Approximate followers
• Verification Status: Verified badge status
• Account Type: Personal, Professional, Business

Step 4: Verification

Verify Ownership:

• Link through OAuth (Twitter, Instagram)
• Upload profile screenshot
• Provide verification code
• Confirm via email

Step 5: Set Monitoring Level

Monitoring Levels:

• High: Active monitoring for impersonation and content leaks
• Medium: Standard monitoring for major violations
• Low: Basic monitoring for direct impersonation only

Step 6: Save Profile

Click "Save Social Profile" to add it to your account.

Managing Social Profiles

Edit Profiles

1. Find the profile in your list
2. Click "Edit"
3. Update information
4. Save changes

Update When:

• Username changes
• Follower count significantly changes
• Verification status changes
• You want to adjust monitoring level

Profile Status

Status Types:

• Active: Currently using, full monitoring
• Inactive: Not actively posting, reduced monitoring
• Suspended: Platform suspended your account
• Deactivated: You've deactivated the account

Remove Profiles

1. Locate the profile
2. Click "Delete"
3. Confirm removal

Impersonation Detection

How It Works

Our system monitors for:

• Exact Username Matches: Accounts using your exact handle
• Similar Usernames: Variations and typos of your name
• Photo Theft: Accounts using your profile pictures

3. Click "Report Impersonation"
4. We'll submit takedown request to the platform
